Style Me – Dippy Tee

I’ve decided to add some regularity to my blog every week I will do a style me post – I will take an item in my wardrobe and style it with items I am lusting over to create looks for day and night.
The Boy bought me a couple of items last week and one of them was this dippy t-shirt from River Island.
Very pretty item – I don’t really do ‘pretty’ clothes. It’s obvious that black, grungy items rule supreme in my wardrobe along with alot of denim.
However I think this t shirt is really versatile and I am making a HUGE attempt to come out of my comfort zone and try different things.

Look 1 – Day

Tee – River Island/Cardigan – Topshop /Leggings – Topshop /Gilet – Topshop /Boots – Office

How frigging AMAZING are these boots!! Yes guys I am a huge lover of height and these tick all my boxes – black, grungy and just plain HOT.
I genuinely NEED these – I recently got a new job (starting next week) so I feel these may have to be my gift to myself. I feel at £55 they are a reasonable price and I can say I could see myself living in them. Love the skelly leggings so cute. Given the t shirt a long cardigan with the gilet to dress it down and being the winter months keeping warm is a necessity. I am not keen on the necklace the top comes with so I personally won’t have it on.
Look 2 – Night

Top – as before/Trousers – River Island / Jacket – River Island / Shoes – Jeffrey Campbell @ Office

So – Jeffrey Campbell how I adore you for the Clinic wedge. The ever popular Lita is a fav amongst the blogging community – as beautiful as I find them I must admit it wouldn’t be my shoe of choice. The Clinic Wedge however sends shivers down my spine! Buckles and spikes to be worn with serious attitude. The price tag is a little scary for me – however I am hoping the boy sees this and they make an appearance under the xmas tree… Oh and those pants – wowzas love how shiny they are, much to my dismay they don’t have a short leg option on the website and being struck with short legs the regular are too long and bag at my ankles and with shiny pants I don’t think that will work for me.

The two looks are fairly similar in the sense I have overloaded with black pieces however I would defo rock both looks given all the items.
Once I have a decent camera I will try and do this Monday post showing my day and night variations on myself.

What do you think?
